About David Moorman
My journey with photography started at twelve years old, when I picked up my very first camera. By sixteen, I’d saved up for my first SLR from Dixons, and from that moment on, I never stopped looking at the world through a lens.
That passion eventually took me across the globe. As an expedition photographer for Raleigh International in Borneo, I spent three months immersed in dense rainforests, capturing over 10,000 images to document high-impact community projects. Seeing those photos published both locally and internationally to support a vital cause showed me the true power of purposeful imagery.
Over the years, my work in landscape and architectural photography has earned industry awards, honing my eye for composition, structural lines, and natural light. But what drives me most is bringing that same level of artistry and precision to my client work. For the past two years, I’ve been working directly with clients across studio, on-location, and event settings.
I genuinely love the dual nature of photography: balancing the complex technical challenges of camera craft and lighting with the creative artistry required to make a photo feel alive.
Whether this is your very first time booking a professional photographer or you’re a seasoned creative director with a clear brief, I aim to make every shoot seamless, collaborative, and enjoyable. Let’s create something exceptional together.

Capturing Stories, Light, and Technical Precision
My Approach
To me, great photography lives at the intersection of technical skill and creative intuition. Solving complex lighting or environmental challenges is just as exciting as framing the final artistic shot.
Working Together
If you’re hiring a photographer for the first time, I’ll guide you through every step of the process so you feel completely at ease. If you’re a seasoned professional, you can count on technical reliability, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset that delivers to your exact vision.
